Erik Ole Jørgensen designed the J149 in 1978, creating a simple and beautifully executed three-person sofa. With a solid oak frame and a covering of durable New Zealand wool, it bears witness to the fact that Danish design is as relevant today as it was 40 years ago.

- Danish design

- Environmentally conscious choice of materials

- Sturdy and robust construction Environmentally Conscious Design

The J149’s frame is matte-lacquered oak from FSC-certified trees from European forests. Its Crisp fabric upholstery is New Zealand wool, beautifully woven and certified by both OEKO-TEX and EU Ecolabel. The stylish fabric acknowledges the popularity of multicolored cloth that lacks a pattern but still offers a vibrant, variegated surface. It boasts good stretch qualities and exceptional wear resistance, and is naturally dirt repellent.

About FDB Moebler

In the early 1940s some young, courageous furniture architects were given the task of developing beautiful, functional furniture at attractive prices. Good furniture design and high quality should not only be reserved for the most prosperous in society. FDB Møbler was established to create the framework for close family values and a democratic community. Now 75 years later the old classics, originally designed by Børge Mogensen, Poul M. Volther and others, are developed from the same principles.
