Terms and Condition
The following payment options are viable: Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Bancontact, IDEAL, Sofort Banking, KBC/CBC and Belfius.
Your name must appear on the credit card. All credit card users are subject to validation, control and approval by the credit card issuer. If the card issuer rejects the payment, cannot be held responsible for the delay or non-delivery of an order. In cases where validation and approval of your card has been withdrawn or is unable to be ascertained, CPHAGEN reserves the right to reject your order.
By sending an order to CPHAGEN via www.cphagen.com you certify that the payment information for your order is valid and correct. When your order is accepted and processed by CPHAGEN, the payment procedure will ensue and you have thus given CPHAGEN permission to undertake the necessary payment validation, control, and approval.
The prices are stated on the website at the time of ordering. All prices include 21 % or 6% VAT
At CPHAGEN we always strive for quick delivery in Belgium and Europe. Your orders are shipped with DPD with whom you have two options: Either directly to your home or to one of the DPD parcelshops near you. The parcelshop is also the place to pick up your delivery in case you were not home for the direct delivery. In that case you will be sent an e-mail or SMS once your parcel is ready to be collected. Do not forget to take a valid ID card when you come to collect your parcel.
As soon as the order is sent we will forward a track and trace number via email.
With the DPD shipping service we can currently deliver to the following countries:

Your order will be shipped as soon it is possible and we aim at a delivery time of 2-5 business days in Belgium (except furniture from Via Copenhagen. The delivery here is approx 5 weeks, depending on when the order was accepted) and 5-10 days to the other countries listed above (except furniture from Via Copenhagen. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed and should only be regarded as a guideline. CPHAGEN cannot be held responsible for delays when the estimated delivery dates are exceeded by the delivery firm or the local customs authorities.
The shipping costs are automatically calculated during the online purchase based on the delivery address and option as described above. The shipping cost is stated upon approval of your order during the purchase process. For undelivered packages, CPHAGEN reserves the right to charge a fee equivalent to the shipping costs incurred by CPHAGEN for said order.
Taxes and VAT
- From one EU country to another EU country, there is usually no tax or customs charges since all EU countries are exempt from these charges because of freedom of movement of goods within the EU.
- To a country outside the EU, goods can be detained in customs and custom fees incurred. CPHAGEN is not responsible for the taxes, duty charges and custom fees.
You will receive a track and trace number via email when your order is shipped from CPHAGEN. With this number, you can follow your order from the sender until it arrives at its destination. DPD track and trace system will contain instructions for tracking your order. An order can usually be tracked 10 hours after the tracking number has been received.
If you wish to cancel your purchase (Right of cancellation)
When you shop at CPHAGEN you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of the delivery date. You must, within 30 days after receiving your purchase, notify us that you wish to cancel your order. It is up to you to document your desire to cancel in time. We, therefore, recommend that you send your request to CPHAGEN via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In your message of cancellation, you must clearly indicate that you wish to make use of your right of cancellation
You cannot cancel an order just by refusing to accept delivery; you must also clearly notify CPHAGEN that you wish to cancel your order.
You must notify CPHAGEN that you are making use of your right of cancellation. You must also send your purchase back to us within 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order. You are responsible for paying the cost of returning the goods. You are also responsible for making sure that the items are properly packed. The invoice must be included with the returned goods.
Your right of cancellation expires 30 days after the day upon which: a) You received your purchase. b) You received and are in physical possession of the last item when one order included several items which are delivered separately. c) You received and are in physical possession of the last part of an order which contains an item made up of several parts.
The condition of the goods when you return them
You are responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods due to handling or using the item which was not strictly necessary to ascertain the functionality and qualities of said item. Or in other words, you can try out or test an item in the same way you would try out or test an item in a real, physical shop.
If an item has been tested or used in ways that exceed those described above, the item can be considered to be “used” which means that when you cancel the order you will receive less than the original purchase price or possibly no refund at all – depending on the commercial value of the item.
In order to have the entire original purchase price refunded, you may only try or use an item as you would do in a regular shop – again, you can test the item, but you cannot make prolonged use of it.
Return of purchase price
If you wish to return your purchase, we will naturally refund the original purchase price. In cases where there is a decrease in the item’s original value, you are responsible for this amount which will be deducted from the purchase price.
If you make use of your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments made by you including shipping costs. We will not, however, refund any extra shipping costs which you yourself requested – we refund only the standard delivery costs that we offer. Your refund will be made without unnecessary delays and at the latest 14 days from the date we received your notification of cancellation. We will transfer the amount back to you via the same payment method which you used to make the original purchase.
We reserve the right to maintain possession of the return payment until we have received the goods you returned, unless you present documentation confirming that you have returned the items before we have received them.
Exceptions to the Right of Cancellation
The Right of Cancellation does not apply to the following types of items:
- Delivery of goods which have been specifically made to meet the consumer’s specifications or which have been given a clear personalized look or quality. For example, if it has been made in a special size or dimension at the purchaser’s request.
- Delivery of goods which can quickly deteriorate or have passed their expiration date such as facial creams, cosmetics, body lotions, etc.
- Delivery of sealed goods that due to health or hygienic reasons are not suitable for return, or if the seal has been broken after delivery. For example skincare products, etc.
You lose your Right of Cancellation if you break the seal on an item that for health or hygienic reasons is not suitable for return.

What should I return? You must include a copy of the invoice. Processing of your return will go more quickly if you fill out the standard return. Please note – we do not accept packages that are Cash On Delivery.
What if there is something wrong with my purchase?
CPHAGEN offers the guarantees provided by the law
CPHAGEN is not liable for odds, accident, misuse or wrong manipulation of an article by the customer.
An article with an acceptable claim will be repaired or replaced free of charge. If the costs of repair are disproportionate, the CPHAGEN reserves the right to replace the item or exchange it with a similar product.
It is, of course, necessary that the claim be genuine and warranted, and that the defect is not the result of improper usage of the product or other damaging or inappropriate behaviour.
How quickly must I make my claim?
You must file your claim within a “reasonable amount of time” after you discovered that an item was defective. If you make your claim within 2 months following the discovery of the defect, your claim will always be considered “in time” (assuming that you have made your claim within 24 months after the purchase).
We refund reasonable shipping costs if the claim is legitimate, we will naturally refund any reasonable shipping costs.

We need the following information when you return an item to us:
Your name, your address, your telephone number, your email address, purchase date/delivery date and order number (if possible).
When you return an item, please tell us what the problem is and include as many details as possible. The more information you give us the better.
Remember that the goods must be returned in proper packaging, and don’t forget to get a receipt when you send the item (in order for us to refund your shipping costs).

If we cannot come to a satisfactory resolution to your problem, you can make a complaint to the relevant authority for this area as long as the necessary conditions are met. One of these conditions is that you must first make your claim to the company you bought the item from before you can take the claim to the relevant authority.
Liability for website use
The CPHAGEN's website is intended to provide general information to the customer about the products and activities of CPHAGEN. Regarding access, the ordering process, delivery or other services, the seller has only an exercise commitment.
CPHAGEN is entitled to suspend in whole or in part at any time the site or put it on hold for maintenance, updating or any other reason, even without prior warning.
CPHAGEN cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage arising from use of the Internet, by any failure of the system, the intrusion of outsiders or of a virus, nor for any third party to this installed or processed information or any that can be regarded as force majeure.
Personal Data Policy
The customer has in accordance with the Act of December 8, 1992 on the Protection of Privacy at all times the right to access these data, modify and delete if he/she no longer wish to receive information about the activities of the seller. For this, the customer can contact CPHAGEN The customer can change his/her account details via his account profile.
All parts of the site of the seller, including the technology used, are the exclusive property of the seller and copyrighted.
To set up a link between the seller's website and users,having their own website, but also for personal use, permission explicitly must be given by the seller.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
This agreement is subject to the provisions of Belgian law. In case of dispute, only the Court of the District or the Court of Appeal of Brussels, have the jurisdiction.
When you enroll in the CPHAGEN Reward program ("Program"), you agree to be bound by these Program Terms and Conditions. CPHAGEN reserves the right at any time and from time to time, without notice, to add to, remove from, change or terminate the Program; for example, we may change the Program benefits, credit levels, Program affiliations or redemption offers at any time with or without notice and without further obligation or liability to you. Participants are responsible for accessing the site in order to keep informed of Program features applicable to Participants' rights and responsibilities with regard to the Program. Happiness points accrue and may be redeemed in accordance with these Program Terms and Conditions. We may further restrict the Program based on your place of residence.
Accrued points are not property and do not hold any independent monetary value. Points are not transferable under any conditions, including upon a Participant's death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or in any other matter, and any purported transfer or exchange of Happiness points is null and void. Accrued points may not be combined with any other Program Participant's points. All accrued points will be forfeited upon your withdrawal from or termination of the Program.
The points have no monetary value and may not be combined with any other offer, discount, coupon or promotion. POINTS CAN NEVER BE CONVERTED TO CASH OR REFUNDED, EVEN UPON CANCELLATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT BY YOU OR TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF YOUR ACCOUNT BY US.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CPHAGEN retains ownership rights in any and all points and grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use points only as specifically designated as part of the Program. In the event that your account is cancelled or terminated by you or by CPHAGEN for any reason, then you will no longer have the right to use any points stored in or otherwise associated with your account, without any compensation to you or any liability of CPHAGEN. Once points are deleted from your account, they will not be reinstated. Your only recourse and rights, if any, with respect to points obtained by you is to redeem such points in accordance with these Program Terms and Conditions pursuant to eligible redemption offers as specifically designated from time to time in CPHAGEN's sole discretion.
Your points are accumulated when you purchase eligible goods and services in the amounts and for the terms as specified with each promotion. Such promotions are subject to change with or without notice at any time, and all such purchases will be governed by the CPHAGEN Terms & Conditions. Points may be used to purchase products unless otherwise stated. For any cancellations of goods or services purchased using points, any allowable refunds will be issued for the cash value actually paid and will not include the value of points utilized. We also may remove points from your account if they are posted to your account in connection with an activity that is subsequently voided, canceled or involves a return.
If you believe that you have validly obtained any points that have not posted to your account, then you must contact us within 30 days after the date you claimed to have obtained points. You acknowledge and agree that we may require reasonable documentation to support your claim and our resolution of your claim after our internal customer service review processes will be considered binding and final by you.
By redeeming a point, the Participant releases CPHAGEN, subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all liability regarding the Program or any redemption or use of points. CPHAGEN is not responsible for replacing lost, stolen or mutilated gift certificates, merchandise or anything else obtained by redemption of points.
You are responsible for all taxes, liabilities, surcharges and any other fees associated with participation in the Program.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, CPHAGEN MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR OTHERWISE, REGARDING THE PROGRAM OR ANYTHING OBTAINED BY REDEMPTION OF HAPPINESS POINTS. FURTHER, CPHAGEN IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM OR USE IN ANY MANNER OF ANYTHING OBTAINED BY REDEMPTION.
You acknowledge and agree that the results of our internal customer service review processes will be considered binding and final by you with respect to any and all matters arising from or related to the Program. CPHAGEN may audit any Participant's account at any time, with or without notice to the Participant, to ensure compliance with these Program Terms and Conditions. CPHAGEN, in its sole discretion, may cancel, suspend or otherwise limit your access to points stored in your account if there is any suspicious, fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity associated with your account. If we cancel, suspend or otherwise limit access to points stored in your account, your right to use Happiness points stored in your account immediately ceases. We will use reasonable efforts to investigate accounts that are subject to access limitations and to reach a final decision on the limitations promptly. CPHAGEN reserves the right to pursue legal action in the event of fraud, misrepresentation, abuse or violation of the Program Terms and Conditions.
The Program and participation in the program is subject to the applicable laws, rules and regulations of Belgium.
