Linoleum is a 100 % natural product made from raw materials extracted from plants and trees. In addition to being noise-reducing, an advantage of linoleum products is that they are easy to clean and not stained by greasy fingers if cared for correctly. Like other materials, linoleum will acquire a patina from use and will eventually attain a beautiful and natural look.

Guidance
Cleaning: Apply linoleum soap using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, wrung in warm water. Distribute the soap in an even, thin layer across the entire surface using massaging, circular motions, creating a light lather. We advise against the use of kitchen towels. Wash off excess soap using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, wrung in warm water. Always wash entire surfaces to avoid discolouration.
Treatment: Apply linoleum soap using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, wrung in warm water. Distribute the soap in an even, thin layer across the entire surface using massaging, circular motions, creating a light lather. We advise against the use of kitchen towels. Leave the soap to β€œsoak in” for approximately 5 minutes and wash off excess soap using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, wrung in warm water. We recommend treating the surface of the linoleum at least 4-6 times every year or when used more intensively. Always wash entire surfaces to avoid discolouration.

Guidance
If the wood is dirty, we recommend cleaning the surface of the wood with Guardian Wood Cleaner before oiling it.

Apply the oil in an even, thin layer with a soft sponge or a soft, lint-free cloth in along the grain of the wood.

Remove any excess oil using a dry cloth. The oil is touch-dry after approximately 3 hours and dry after approximately 24 hours.

If the surface of the wood appears very dry and absorbent, the treatment may be repeated.
