Copenhagen Sparkling Tea was created in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2010 by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba while working at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Searching for the perfect pairing for dessert, he discovered that carefully blended premium teas could deliver the same complexity and elegance as sparkling wine.

After years of refining flavors and techniques, Jacob partnered with gastronomy entrepreneur Bo Sten Hansen, and together they founded the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company in 2017. The first bottles were sold in Copenhagen, and today Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is enjoyed in 50+ countries and served in over 100 Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide.
